Joe Dwyer's Teamster career began in 1974 when he was initiated as a Great Western Sugar warehouseman with Local 1064.

Elected Vice-President of that Local in 1983, he was subsequently appointed President/Principal Officer in 1985. When Local 1064 merged with Local 190 in 1990, Dwyer became a Business Agent, and later was elected Trustee. Appointed Local 190 Secretary-Treasurer/Principal Officer in 1996, he has since been elected to that position in 1997, 2000, 2003 and 2006.

Dwyer serves as a Trustee for the Montana Teamsters Contractors/Employers Trust and the Western Conference of Teamsters Pension Trust, Recording Secretary of Teamsters Joint Council 3 and has served as a labor member of the Montana Board of Personnel Appeals. Dwyer was appointed by Governor Brian Schweitzer in November 2005 to the Board of Directors of the Montana State Fund.  Schweitzer appointed Dwyer as Chairman of the Board of the State Fund in June of 2007.

Dwyer was born in New Brighton, PA. He and his wife Kathy have three children and three grandchildren.

Susan Kaiser, Bookkeeper

Susan Kaiser was hired as the Teamters part-time bookkeeper in May 2005.   Although new to the Teamsters, Susan has been involved with the labor movement since the 80's.  

Susan was appointed as the local LEARN Co-ordinatior(Labor, Education and Resourses Now) in August 2006.

When Susan isn't crunching numbers, her and husband, Tom enjoy fishing, home remodel projects and their seven grandchildren.
