Joe Dwyer, Secretary-Treasurer

Joe Dwyer's Teamster career began in 1974 when he was initiated as a Great Western Sugar warehouseman with Local 1064.

Elected Vice-President of that Local in 1983, he was subsequently appointed President/Principal Officer in 1985. When Local 1064 merged with Local 190 in 1990, Dwyer became a Business Agent, and later was elected Trustee. Appointed Local 190 Secretary-Treasurer/Principal Officer in 1996, he has since been elected to that position in 1997, 2000, 2003,2006 and 2009.

Dwyer serves as a Trustee for the Montana Teamsters Contractors/Employers Trust and the Western Conference of Teamsters Pension Trust, Secretary Treasurer of Teamsters Joint Council 3 and has served as a labor member of the Montana Board of Personnel Appeals. Dwyer was appointed by Governor Brian Schweitzer in November 2005 to the Board of Directors of the Montana State Fund.  Schweitzer appointed Dwyer as Chairman of the Board of the State Fund in June of 2007.

Dwyer was born in New Brighton, PA. He and his wife Kathy have three children and three grandchildren.

Wayne Erhart , Business Representative

After a hitch in the U.S. Navy, Wayne Erhart’s driving career began in the summer of 1978. After driving non-union for 11 years, he wised-up and joined the Teamsters in April of 1989. As a Teamster he drove for Georgia-Pacific, part time in 1986 then started full time 1989. Erhart then went to work for Sysco Food Services of Montana in March of 1997, until June of 2002, when he became a Business Representative for Teamsters Local 190. During Erhart’s time with Sysco and Georgia-Pacific he was a very active Shop Steward at both facilities.

Erhart was raised in Billings, Montana, and now has a small horse farm in Park City, where he lives with his wife, daughter, and “adopted daughter”.  When he is not working, he enjoys fishing/backpacking and riding his “Hog”.

 


Jim Larson , Business Representative

Jim Larson joined Teamsters Union Local 190 in 1988 as an employee of United Parcel  Service.   He continued his employment with UPS until becoming a Business Representative in 1997.  Jim is the Political Coordinator and works with elected officials from both parties on issues affecting working families.  Jim is also Montana's representative on the IBT Human Rights Commission and is the recording secretary for the Montana Teamsters Employers trust. 

Jim was raised in Helena and resides in Billings with his wife and three sons.

Darla Dunham, Office Manager/Titan Operator

In March of 1999, Darla Dunham was hired as the part-time Titan Operator.  In 2002, Darla went to full-time and was appointed Office Manager. 

Along with here Titan duties, she assists members with health and welfare and pension issues. 

Darla and her husband, Bill, enjoy spending time witht their 5 grandchildren as well bowling in a mixed league together.

 

Susan Kaiser, Bookkeeper

Susan Kaiser was hired as the Teamters part-time bookkeeper in May 2005.   Although new to the Teamsters, Susan has been involved with the labor movement since the 80's.  

Susan was appointed as the local LEARN Co-ordinatior(Labor, Education and Resourses Now) in August 2006.

When Susan isn't crunching numbers, her and husband, Tom enjoy fishing, home remodel projects and their seven grandchildren.
